Ethos Veterinary Health Small Animal Surgeon in Woburn, Massachusetts

Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital, located in Woburn, MA, is seeking a full-time surgeon to join our expanding team of five surgeons at our 24/7 Emergency and Specialty referral hospital.

We are looking for a board-certified surgeon or an individual who has completed residency training to support our hospital on a full-time basis. We are seeking a team member who has excellent interpersonal skills, desires to be a team player, is interested in expanding/growing department, can accomplish a high case load, and possesses strong time management skills. We perform a full array of soft tissue, orthopedic, and minimally invasive surgical procedures, and focus on a surgery sub-specialty is possible for the experienced candidate. The Surgery department is supported by two client service concierges and multiple experienced veterinary technicians, including a Veterinary Technician Specialist in Anesthesia and Analgesia and two Anesthesiologists.

Our 36,000 square foot hospital is home to one of the premier level 1 emergency and specialty centers in New England. We offer specialty care in Surgery, Anesthesia, Neurology, Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Oncology, Diagnostic Imaging, Interventional Radiology, Dermatology, Nutrition, and Critical Care, as well as, a busy emergency service.

The hospital is supported by approximately 50 veterinarians, over 100 veterinary technicians, an in-house diagnostic laboratory with full time clinical pathologist, call center, and a compounding pharmacy.

Our hospital is well equipped with 5 surgical suites, and advanced care equipment including a full complement of arthroscopic, laparoscopic, and endoscopic equipment, Ligasure, LED surgical lighting, digital radiography with monitors in each surgical suite, OEC 9800 fluoroscopy, Toshiba Aquilion 64 computed tomography, 1.5T magnetic resonance imaging system, and mechanical ventilation.
