Ethos Veterinary Health Veterinary Internist in Woburn, Massachusetts

Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital is looking for an Internal Medicine Specialist to join our well-established referral hospital in the Boston metropolitan area.

The very productive internal medicine service is currently made up of 5 internists and we are looking for a full-time Internist to join our group. Ideally, we are looking for this person to add a new service e.g. hemodialysis, or have a special interest e.g. interventional radiology.

Our 36,000-square foot hospital, located 11 miles north of Boston, is home to one of the premier level 1 emergency and specialty centers in New England. We are a vibrant specialty practice with a broad spectrum of doctors specializing in internal medicine, radiology, neurology, anesthesiology, ophthalmology, oncology, clinical pathology, surgery, cardiology and dermatology. Additionally, our emergency department consists of 16 internship-trained Veterinarians, four board-certified Criticalists, three residents and two emergency specialty interns who provide high quality care 24-hours per day. Our hospital includes an on-site compounding pharmacy and a physical therapy and rehabilitation department with two CCRT Physical Therapists.

The hospital is well equipped including a 1.5 tesla Philips MRI, 64 slice GE CT scanner, digital radiography, 3 ultrasound machines, mechanical ventilation, complete on-site diagnostic laboratory, comprehensive surgical facilities, a dedicated ICU department, and a fluoroscopy suite. Endoscopy services provided include rhinoscopy, bronchoscopy, upper and lower intestinal endoscopy, and cystoscopy.
