Community Options Supervisor- Hybrid Schedule Seeking a full-time (37.5 hours/week) Community Options Supervisor. The Community Options Supervisor hybrid schedule (minimum 2 days in office). This position will supervise and manage Options Counselors, Benefits Support Specialist, and other like positions to ensure the programs and staff are meeting regulatory requirements, agency policy and reflective of consumer person-centered goals. The Options Counseling program is a person-centered statewide initiative that empowers people 60+ and those under 60 living with a disability to make informed decisions about their long-term supports and services, access public benefits, and connect with community resources. The Benefit Support Specialist supports the consumer and/or their informal support in the application or reapplication process for MassHealth and/or SNAP public benefits. Qualifications and Abilities: Bachelor\'s degree required. Field of degree in social work, psychology, counseling, human development, nursing, sociology, criminal justice, public health, public policy, or gerontology preferred. A minimum of at least 3 years? experience working in human services is required. At least 1 year of Supervisory experience is preferred. Knowledge of MA public benefits and health insurance including Medicare and MassHealth is preferred. Use of reliable vehicle including Use of a reliable vehicle including active vehicle insurance with a current license to drive required. Demonstrate strong organizational, prioritization, analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and team skills. Ability to multitask, keep accurate records, have a strong attention to detail, document clearly, and communicate effectively verbally and in writing, all within a fast-paced environment. Ability to take initiative and work independently. Computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Share Point, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 20 lbs. and have the ability to climb stairs. \ A hiring bonus will be awarded in 2 parts, half at 120 Days, and half at 1 year of active employment.
