Upward Bound Program
Our Bruce Wells Scholars Upward Bound program provides promising but at-risk high school students in the Worcester Public Schools with the opportunity to achieve their dreams of a college education. The program combines intensive academic supports with college and career planning, life skills education, and a strong emphasis on family participation to prepare students to successfully matriculate to and complete higher education.
About Dynamy Youth Academy
The Youth Academy is a five-year leadership and college success program for promising Worcester high school students who will most benefit from early intervention. Our goal is to ensure that their life circumstances do not prevent them from reaching their full academic and career potential. Students are recruited in eighth grade and begin the program the summer before high school begins. They are supported through a mentoring-based experiential educational curriculum for all four years of high school and into their first year in post-secondary education. Students are taught to find and use their own strengths, confidence, passions, values, and leadership qualities
